I think politics is the wrong medium for organizing our democracy.
We, the people, must wake up to the fact that the days are gone in which it really was our vote that mattered. I think you know that. We all do — but in the face of money laden lobbies and huge slow moving administrative organisations creating momentum in the right direction seems to be impossible.

What adds to the frustration is that we currently live in circumstances with the highest potential for good and bad outcomes ever since the first human started walking this planet.

We need to find different ways to manage our societies in a democratic way. I think, the way to go is direct democracy — with all its potential problems and downsides, yes. We will have to conduct experiments at a small scale to learn and implement these learnings quickly. I wish, i could take a bunch of people to an island and just do that.
